About Idaho Broadband Office

The Idaho Broadband Fund and its Idaho Broadband Advisory Board was established by Idaho's state legislature in March 2021.

The state defines unserved areas as those lacking a minimum 25Mbps upload/3 Mbps download service.

Governor Brad Little’s “Building Idaho’s Future” 2020 plan to invest in the state’s infrastructure proposed a combined $54 million in local funds for broadband and economic development. Those funds will be supplemented by those from the American Rescue Plan and the Infrastructure and Investment Jobs Act.

The state broadband advisory board meetings are accessible here.
