Critical Infrastructure Term·T

Tactical (Close Range) EMP

A localized electromagnetic pulse weapon designed for battlefield or urban use, typically deployed via portable or low-yield devices. These close-range EMPs are intended to disable electronics and communication systems within a limited radius—such as a building, vehicle fleet, or specific segment of critical infrastructure—without causing physical destruction. Tactical EMPs pose a threat to data centers, network hubs, and emergency response systems during localized attacks or civil disruptions.
